Commercial Services
The following pages will guide you through the forms and
procedures for the Commercial Services Department.
Application Time: 1 week to 1 month.
Fees:

Yearly Licence |

a) For licensing of a Place of Amusement with buildings
only or with building and grounds: |
|
|
(i) with a capacity not exceeding 300 persons |
$2,000 |
| (ii) with a capacity exceeding 300
persons but not exceeding 1000 persons |
$4,500 |

(iii) with a capacity exceeding 1000 persons |
$10,000 |

|
b) For licensing of a Place of Amusement with grounds
only: |
|
|
(i) with a capacity not exceeding 300 persons |
$1,500 |
| (ii) with a capacity exceeding 300
persons but not exceeding 1000 persons |

(iii) with a capacity exceeding 1000 persons |

Special Events |
|
c) For licensing of a Place of Amusement whether with
buildings only or grounds only or both buildings and grounds,
for the presentation of an event which, in the view of its
scope or any attendant traffic or other responsibilities, is
regarded by the Council as a special event: |
|
| (i) where the event is scheduled to
be held at a venue with accommodation for 1000 persons or less |
$2,500 per day |
| (ii) where the event is scheduled
to be held at a venue with accommodation for more than 1000
persons but not more than 5,000 persons |
$3,500 per day |
| (iii) where the event is scheduled
to be held at a venue with accommodation for more than 5000
persons |
$10,000 per day |
- Obtain application from Parish Council 3rd Floor or
download here.
- Documents required: proof of insurance coverage and in the
case of a building, a certificate from the Fire Commission as to
the adequacy of fire precautions.
- Fee is paid to Finance Department, 3rd floor Parish
Council Building.
- Where required applications will be passed to Police and
Ministry of Health.
- Applicant is notified when licence is ready.
This facility is presently being implemented; information will be
posted when arrangements have been made.

Barbers & Hairdressers License |

Application Time: 1 week to 1 month
Fee: $2100 per year.
Procedure:
- Obtain application from Parish Council 3rd floor or
download here.
- Documents required: 2 passport-sized photographs.
- Fee is paid at Finance Department, 3rd floor.
- Application is passed to Health Department for investigation
and report; applicant will be contacted for inspection purposes.
- When parish council receives Health Department comments, the
application is brought to the Public Health Committee meeting (2nd
Wednesday monthly) to be approved and a permit is prepared.
- Applicant is telephoned when permit is ready for pick-up.
The Billboard process and fees are presently being revised.
Please bring a location diagram of the proposed billboard to the
Commercial Services Unit.
